Hello everyone, it is that time of year again. After an unexpected and unwelcome rain, my Jeep is finally loaded and I will be driving up to the TRF Campground as soon as I finish making this post. This will be my home for the next 8 weekends in a row, and the recent repairs that were made to my Jeep will now be put to the test. There is no Internet access in the Campground of course, but you are welcome to call me or text message me on my cell phone...if the signal is strong enough! I will have all 3 of my puppets with me, and I hope to meet up with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) alfonse_vusaers again soon. I will try and get some good pics posted when I have the chance, I know several of you want to actually see my Jeep already! Here's the TRF webpage, for those who are curious:

| Massive Jeep Update! |

After going an entire year without having to be taken in to the dealer for service, I finally had to take the Jeep in a week ago today. I got it back on Friday. After a disturbingly high repair bill, here is what was replaced:
1. Blower Motor (the electric fan that runs the A/C, heater, & defroster)
2. The ENTIRE Front Brakes (pads, rotors, and calipers)
3. ALMOST the entire Front Suspension (too many parts to list here, but at least most of them were original factory parts, so I can't really complain here)
4. Power Steering Gearbox (not the pump, the actual gearbox itself...once again, factory original)
5. Fuel Injector Service (They needed a good cleaning)
At least now it works as good as new once again...just in time too, TRF begins in 11 days! I don't know if I will be able to have the headlight upgrade completed by then now, but I wasn't expecting all of this either! Right now I just want to get up there again, it feels like it's been so long... |

Yes it's true. How many of you remembered? How many of you even knew? Sadly, I wasn't able to do anything special today. I ended up spending it at home alone. It could have been worse though...at least I have electricity and Internet this time, unlike last year. I would like to thank everyone who sent me greetings over ICQ and text messaging on my cell phone. Also, special thanks to t_h_squirrel for the very early gift you sent me! There's nothing exciting going on here at the moment, I have to wait 24 more days until TRF. So, how many of you will reply to this post of mine, here on this day of days? |

I didn't post very much this month, so for those of you wondering, here is what I have been up to lately...
I got a sheepskin seatcover for the driver's seat of the Jeep. After many years of heavy use, the rich Corinthian Leather finally wore out. It's nice and comfy, I really shouldn't have waited this long. I also just got a full set of new tires, it really needed them! I use BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A, if you are curious. They should do very nicely in the TRF Campground! The next thing I have planned is to upgrade the headlights to a modern Xenon-HID system next month.
I got another Deck Legend Keyboard. Yes, I do already have one. This one is a different color. There's also no harm in having a spare. I'll probably use it when I go to LAN parties. Here is what they both look like together:

Both records broken! Let's do it again next year! So, what else happened? This was one of the most awesome cons I ever had. I got to meet and pet a live skunk. I got to enjoy Hookah again, my first time since TRF...thanks to everyone who brought one to AC with you. I got to meet the Dingo Pack (and I still need a copy of that video from you guys, you know the one) thanks for letting me hang out with you, will you be at FC? Perhaps the single most amazing thing of all here, is that there was NO DRAMA at this con. None. How is that possible, and with such a huge crowd? I don't know, but I wish every con was as smooth as this one...wherever the Drama went, it can and should stay there! Good Riddance!!! To those of you who didn't attend this year, you absolutely missed out and hopefully you can make it to FC. Even the PCD was amazingly light this year for me, but I do miss all of you already. It felt great bringing my puppets out again, and my wolf ended up on the local TV news report! If anyone has any pics or videos of me, please let me know? I need copies!

Hello everyone...there is not much new here right now, I am mainly just waiting for AC to get here...
Draconomicon Edition #4 Volume #1 has arrived. Volume #2 will be available in November.
I placed another order with http://www.badgerbalm.com/ because they now have some new items available. This should make badgermeles & taxus very happy...it is true, life is better with Badger! I may bring some of it with me to AC.
My Jeep is officially 14 years old this month. Huzzah! It's still doing fine.
